1990 Development of the S3F® solution: preventing the development of bacteria and moulds responsible for athlete’s foot
Sweat, skin fungal infections, hot and humid environments… There are no exhaustive statistics on these types of foot-related problems, but one thing is sure: it is important to protect yourself against these types of bacteria in safety shoes to avoid discomfort and pain. JLF PRO has therefore developed the exclusive S3F® solution to prevent the development of odours and the growth of the bacteria and moulds responsible for athlete’s foot.
1994 Creation of the factory at Villebois-Lavalette (Charente)

2002 Creation of JLF PRO, the leader in foot hygiene and comfort
The JLF PRO brand was created so that the wearers of safety shoes could recognise the products best meeting their needs. The entire JLF PRO range is designed and developed with podiatrists and recognised specialists and meet the strictest standards in force.
2005 Creation of the 1st shock-absorbing anatomical insole
For better grip in the shoe, the JLF Group R&D department has developed products compatible with the anatomy of the foot, in 3rd generation materials with high shock absorption. Thus, thanks to additional shock absorption, JLF PRO offers insoles that limit pain and provide comfort in work shoes.
2010 Creation of the 1st 3/4 insole against musculoskeletal disorders
JLF PRO created the 1st insole that limits musculoskeletal disorders. Certified as a class 1 medical device, this insole prevents joint and back pain. Also, due to its ¾ shape, it preserves the residual height in the safety shoe tip in the case of crushing.
2011 JLF PRO insoles become anti-static
In order to protect safety shoe wearers even in the most hostile environments, JLF PRO insoles have become anti-static. Thus, the accumulation of electrostatic charges is minimised by their dissipation, avoiding the risks of triggering fires in particular.
2014 Launch of packaging for user solutions
So that users can rapidly recognise which product can best meet their needs, JLF PRO has created explanatory packaging so that the choice is simplified in self-service sales.
2015 Obtaining the “Entrepreneurs + Committed” label
